The World Animal Day initiative was launched in 2003 and we’r
e delighted at how quickly it’s grown to become an international success story for the animals. World Animal Day makes animal welfare issues front page news around the globe – a vital catalyst for change.
World Animal Day presents a wonderful opportunity for everyone who cares about animals to be seen standing united with animal advocates around the globe, in order to heighten public awareness of animal issues. An opportunity far too good to miss!
Increased awareness of animal issues cannot fail to lead the way to improved standards of animal animal throughout the world – an what an achievement that will be!
We promote the day in order to encourage organisations, groups, and individuals to get involved. This is not a fundraising event for us! It’s a day which should benefit all those who participate in celebrating animals. World Animal Day belongs to everyone.
